She has over 20 years of media experience, working with companies like McGraw Hill book publishing, to Conde Nast, to Time Magazine. It was while working for the Museum of Fine Arts when she met Robyn Benincasa, the founder of the Project Athena Foundation. Athena is a Goddess of Wisdom and War. Andrea's 'war' (ever so small) was in the 'big city media trenches', decades of high level athletic competition, battling alcoholism, and having the courage to leave friends, family and job behind to cross the country for the perfect career; Executive Director of Project Athena Foundation. Project Athena is a 501c3 non-profit foundation that encourages women who've endured life-altering medical setbacks to unleash the Athlete and Adventurer within and complete the journey of a lifetime.
