EVENT: Trekking in Patagonia with Kurt WedbergPosted by Adventure 16 | 10.16.2017
Patagonia is a truly awe-inspiring destination. Torres del Paine National Park, in Chile’s Patagonia region, is known for its soaring mountains, bright blue icebergs that cleave from glaciers and golden pampas (grasslands) that shelter rare wildlife such as llama-like guanacos. Some of its most iconic sites are the three granite towers from which the park takes its name and the horn-shaped peaks called Cuernos del Paine.
Join us as we host Kurt Wedberg, founder of Sierra Mountaineering International, Inc and veteran of several treks in Patagonia for a presentation about trekking through this magical part of the world.
