ABOUT THE PRESENTERS
Joanne Lynn, a retired adapted physical education teacher, has spent much of her life traveling and camping. She has worked as a licensed white water rafting guide, swim instructor, and camp counselor. Her first van camping trip was seven weeks in Europe in 1970 just after she and her husband were married. She and Bill have slept out under the stars and camped in a variety of different sized RVs. Currently they enjoy their truck camper which tows a jeep so they can enjoy exploring the western U.S.
Marian Karpisek has camped with her family, in all 48 of the continental states and most of Canada, in everything from a make-shift tent to a trailer to a motor home. Her first experience in a camper van was a month spent in Great Britain with her husband, Bob, in 1984. They spent six years living and traveling in their Class B motor home after she retired as a school library media supervisor. She is the author of two books and many articles on school libraries and travel.
