Pines to Palms - The Diverse Landscape of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park

Join us on a virtual tour of the incredibly diverse plant life of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.

Its variable climate and unique geology is reflected in its floral diversity. Anza-Borrego Desert State Park extends from Riverside County to the north down to near the international border, and includes many different vegetation zones. Learn what Park staff is doing to protect and preserve its natural resources while providing educational and volunteer opportunities for the public. From mountain meadows to the low desert, this park is a botanical treasure awaiting your exploration.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER:

Larry Hendrickson is a Colorado Desert District employee, dividing his time between Anza-Borrego Desert, Cuyamaca Rancho, and Palomar Mountain State Parks, along with the Salton Sea and Picacho State Recreation Areas. Larry works with ABDSP Botany Society volunteers and outside groups to help manage invasive species and fulfill other needs of the District.
