Jonathan (my climbing partner) and I awoke well before the crack of dawn to account for the scenic, yet sweltering, four mile approach to "Sunset Streaks" on Corte Madera Mountain.

The climb is regarded as one of the best and most beautiful multi-pitch sport routes in all of Southern California and it's only 45 minutes from A16 San Diego.  If you're planning on tackling this monster climb, make sure you check the weather before you go.

The rappelling and climbing together is 3-4 hours of grueling granite face heat and should not be taken lightly.  A small hydration bladder or a Nalgene is an absolute MUST! Above all else, make sure to enjoy the view...
