An amazing adventure to Thailand, the Phillippines and Indonesia
by Jessica Flores, Register Host, A16 West Los Angeles Store
My trip throughout Southeast Asia was amazing. I went to Thailand and visited Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Phuket. While I was at Cebu in the Philippines, I was able to swim with whale sharks, do multiple canyoneering excursions, and snorkel in the beautiful clear waters.

My final destination was to go to Bali in Indonesia. We went to the city of Ubud where we did a sunrise trek up one of their volcanoes, called Batur. Then we ventured to Gili Islands one of the many smaller islands near Bali. There I got certified as an open water diver and explored the ocean and saw many of its beautiful creatures, including turtles and eels. It was extremely fun being able to explore so many places and the only challenge was trying to fit as much as possible in the little time I had at each city and country.

I was able to pack light for my trip, using only my 45L Eagle Creek bag. I only brought three sets of outfits, two bathing suits, a pack-it towel, three ExOfficio undies, three bras (one was Icebreaker), and three socks. The thing that made my backpack weigh the most was the Go Pro accessories that I brought. The food was amazing in every country that I visited but nothing compares to the Thai food, although I might be biased as I love Thai food to begin with.
