Sierra Mountaineering International runs instructional programs, guided expeditions and treks in Southern California, the Sierra Nevada and to many of the highest peaks around the world. SMI offers group and private outdoor classes in Rock and Ice Climbing, Mountaineering, Back Country Skiing, Avalanche Training, Backpacking, Snow Travel, Snow Anchors and Crevasse Rescue. From first time beginners to veterans, SMI offers programs of all levels to help anyone learn and enjoy the great outdoors!
